Facing the increasingly advanced online shopping and activist cases, yesterday, China's largest online retail platform Taobao announced that Taobao will spend 100 million Yuan to build the first online shopping activist platform''Taobao Consumers Activist and Support platform, which will be on line officially after the Spring Festival.
Sellers need to response to complaints within two days.
In this platform, buyers can maintain equities within 24 hours. According to the introduction, consumers can have activist complaints on the net, and can also monitor complaints processing status at all times. For consumers' complaints, Taobao.com requires sellers must response within 48 hours; the over due responses, Taobao's consumers' activist personnel will intervene to process. Taobao promises to the consumers that Taobao will finish processing all the transaction disputes within 30 days. As for the situation that sellers ship out the goods over the commitment time and consumers' application for drawback has no response, system will refund automatically. In addition, this activist platform will also set 'lighthouse' on the home page which targets at exposing the seller poor reliability at regular intervals.
All the Taobao online stores can enjoy settlement of claims.
